The Georgetown Convention and Visitors Bureau can provide high-definition digital images for editorial use by print and online media outlets, when used in promotion of Georgetown tourism. Please send an email with your contact information, a description of your publication, and any other information along with your photo request to cvb@georgetown.org.

The Georgetown Visitors Center provides an assortment of free area rack cards, directories, maps, and more. To request materials, please send us your name, mailing address, group information, which information interests you may have, along with your request to cvb@georgetown.org.

COVID-19 Update: Visitors Center closed to the public

UPDATE March 18, 2020:

In an effort to slow the spread of the virus in our community, the City of Georgetown is taking steps to limit face-to-face interactions with the public.

Effective 8 a.m. March 19, all City facilities will close to the public through May 11. This closure includes the Georgetown Visitors Center and Convention and Visitors Bureau Offices.

If you have immediate questions while the Visitors Center is closed, please contact cvb@georgetown.org . The Convention and Visitors Bureau Office will be staffed Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. to answer phone calls and emails. The Visitors Center may be reached at (512) 930-3545 or (800) 436-8696.

The 2020 Red Poppy Festival has been rescheduled for October 23-25. You can keep current on those updates at RedPoppyFestival.com.
