Music on the Square Summer Concerts

Dance on over to Georgetown for Music on the Square and enjoy a free concert every Friday night from June through August, except for June 7, July 5, and August 2. As long as the weather permits, the music kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with the last song fading out at 8:30 p.m. So grab your friends, take some food to go from one of the downtown restaurants and settle in for an experience that is bound to be music to your ears. 12th Annual Georgetown Wine & Music Festival

On September 28, from Noon – 8 p.m., The Downtown Georgetown Association will host Georgetown’s Annual Wine & Music Festival again this year on The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas! A souvenir glass and a punch card give you the opportunity to taste from 12 of the participating wineries while enjoying live music. While you’re here, why not stroll the downtown shops, then make it a special evening with dinner at a downtown restaurant.

9th Annual Boo Bash

On October 27 from 1 – 4 p.m., come down to the Georgetown Square in costume, bring your candy bags and enjoy trunk or treating! Boo Bash is a great time for goblins of all ages to take time out to enjoy The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas and its unique shopping and dining. This is a free event. This 360 square foot meeting space easily accommodates up to 30 people, with flexible seating arrangements and a large flat panel display. The downtown location is ideal, and prices starting at just $100 per 2-hour block make this a super affordable option. The Lounge is available by request from 8am to 8pm Monday through Thursday. In addition to the space itself, Boomtown offers a FREE Square Sights scavenger hunt along with many tabletop games included in the rental. If you’re interested in additional fee-based activities, you may consider the escape (aka puzzle) rooms too! They have 10-15 minute games that are great icebreakers, and the hour long escape rooms are a unique way to get to know people.

The Williamson Museum provides free guided tours of the beautiful historic Williamson County Courthouse. Tours are Fridays and Saturdays beginning at 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. Plan to arrive a few minutes early and you may want to call ahead to confirm tours as they are subject to change, (512) 943-1670.

Garey House is located within Garey Park, a 525-acre ranch located along the South San Gabriel River. Annual Lighting of the Square

On November 29, come experience the magic as we kick-off the holiday season with our annual Lighting of the Square, traditionally held at 5:30 p.m. the Friday after Thanksgiving! Sing along with the Austin Carolers to your favorite holiday tunes! Join Georgetown Mayor Dale Ross as we help Santa countdown and flip on the holiday lights on The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas! The downtown shops will be open late, so plan to get in some unique holiday shopping. This is a free event. The downtown holiday lights will come on every evening around 5:30 p..m. through December 31.
