The Annual Lighting of the Square | Downtown Holiday Lights

lighting of the squareKick-off the holiday season with our annual Lighting of the Square, traditionally held at 5:30 p.m. the Friday after Thanksgiving! The 2024 Lighting of the Square will be on November 29. The downtown holiday lights will remain lit every evening through January 1.

The event location is 103 West Seventh Street.

Free parking lots are located at:

  • Fifth Street and Austin Avenue
  • Sixth and Main Streets
  • Seventh and Rock Streets
  • Tenth and Main Streets
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. and Seventh Streets
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. and Eighth Streets
  • Parking garage located at Fourth and Rock Streets
