Red Poppy Festival Rescheduled

red poppy festivalThe Red Poppy Festival, traditionally held the last weekend in April, has been rescheduled for October 1-3, 2021. The move is in response to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. Updates and announcements about the festival will be posted to RedPoppyFestival.com.

No festival, doesn’t mean no poppies! The poppies will still be blooming from the middle of March through the end of April, so grab your friends and our handy map for an outdoor poppy-finding adventure.

And while you’re on the hunt for poppies this spring, stay tuned to the Convention and Visitors Bureau’s Facebook channel for fun-filled interactive poppy games and contests.

Still in your festival feels? October 1-3, 2021 will be here before you know it and the updated fall version of our beloved festival: POPPtoberfest will definitely make your heart blossom. Until then there’s always something to do on the Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas. Check out our Events page or follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter to see what’s happening!
