Downtown Parking

Downtown Georgetown has several free public lots with no time limit, visitors to The Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas and surrounding areas can park in one location and walk to other nearby destinations like the Georgetown Art Center, Williamson Museum, the Georgetown Public Library, and even Blue Hole. Pedestrian travel is protected by well-defined crosswalks and walker-friendly traffic lights; sidewalks are tree-lined and shadowed by stately historical buildings. If you visit downtown via bicycle, there are bike racks located on all four corners of the Square, should you need to park your ride.

On-street parking – those spaces directly in front of businesses and the courthouse – is limited to three hours on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Feel free to stop in the Visitors Center at 103 W. 7th Street to pick up a hospitality parking pass if you are visiting or consider parking in one of the no-limit lots off the Square. We invite you to come on down and stay awhile!
